We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Manager with strong organisational design experience. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in managing complex transitions, particularly in the Financial Services (FS)/ Investment experience and a strong understanding of operating model design, insourcing strategies, and organizational restructuring.
What you’ll do:
- Lead the end-to-end transition of roles and responsibilities from a third-party provider to an internal team
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to manage timelines, deliverables, and dependencies during the transition.
- Ensure that knowledge transfer from the third-party provider is executed efficiently, safeguarding continuity of service and minimizing disruption.
- Design and implement the new operating model, working with key stakeholders to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Oversee the restructuring of internal teams to integrate insourced roles effectively.
- Ensure the new operating model is scalable, sustainable, and aligned with best practices in both Financial Services and Technology.
- Manage communication with internal stakeholders, ensuring they are informed and engaged throughout the transition process.
- Proactively identify risks and challenges related to the insourcing and restructuring process, and develop mitigation plans to address them.
- Ensure that any issues or roadblocks are resolved in a timely manner to avoid delays in the transition.
Your expertise:
- Proven track record in leading large, complex transition projects, ideally within the Financial Services, particularly investment experience and Technology sectors.
- A minimum of 6 years of project management experience, and strong experience in operational/organisational design, organizational capability models, and cross-functional team management
- Experience working in Financial Services and/or Technology environments
- Experience in designing and implementing new operating models, including organizational restructuring and capability-building.
- Strong understanding of the nuances of in-sourcing and the integration of roles, processes, and systems.
- Must have project experience in managing relationships with third-party providers, particularly in complex transition environments.
