Education and Experience:
- Bachelors Degree in Business or IT
- Industry: Retail, Wholesale, E-Commerce
- Functional: Team Management, Project Management
- 5 Years Experience in IT Managerial Position,
- 4 Years Experience in IT Project Management.
- Fluent written and spoken English
Key Performance Indicators:
- Budgeting accuracy – Ensure actual CAPEX and OPEX are in line with the approved budget.
- Strategic Alignment with Global IT – All projects must be approved by Global IT teams (Germany & Austria) and continuously aligned with their systems and operational standards, as well as the local IT Strategy.
- Collaboration with Departments – Conduct quarterly meetings with all Directors/Senior Managers to address operational needs. Complete projects within agreed timelines.
- Systems Uptime – Maintain >95% system uptime during work hours. Professionally communicate all business interruptions to staff in a timely manner. Ensure Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Plans are In Place, Updated, and Tested.
- Security concerns / issues reported – Communicate all security breaches within 4 hours of detection.
- Leadership – Conduct monthly one-on-one meetings with team members. Perform bi-annual performance reviews and assist team members with growth and development plans.
Key Tasks, Duties And Responsibilites:
- IT Infrastructure and Applications Management – Oversee all IT infrastructure and applications to ensure service levels are consistently met, while driving enhancements to business efficiency. Maintain a proactive approach to monitoring, maintaining, and optimizing systems, ensuring seamless daily operations.
- Vendor and Contract Management – Manage vendors and contracts for local third-party systems and technical support services, ensuring cost-effectiveness and alignment with business goals. Regularly review and evaluate vendor performance to maintain high service standards.
- Collaboration on Regional and Global Initiatives – Collaborate with Regional and Global IT teams to align with global strategies, standards, and projects. Act as a liaison for local implementations of regional or global IT initiatives.
- System Support and Maintenance – Provide technical support for critical systems, including Active Directory (AD), MS Exchange/, MS SQL, network switches, and related application systems. Ensure all systems are updated, secure, and compliant with company standards
- Technology Innovation and Investment Optimization – Regularly assess the company’s technology landscape to identify opportunities to leverage, improve, or extend IT investments. Implement innovative tools and practices to support organizational growth and efficiency.
- End-User Support and Enablement – Ensure all users have the necessary tools, hardware, and software to perform their functions efficiently.
- Provide effective and timely support to minimize downtime and improve user satisfaction.
- Security and Compliance – Ensure the business meets all security requirements, including data protection and cybersecurity measures. Monitor and respond promptly to security threats, breaches, or compliance risks.
- Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery – Develop, maintain, and test Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Plans to ensure preparedness for any unforeseen disruptions.
- Team Leadership and Development – Lead and mentor the IT team, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment. Conduct regular one-on-one meetings and performance reviews, and assist team members in achieving professional development goals.
- Operational Excellence – Continuously evaluate IT processes and workflows to identify and implement improvements. Ensure all IT projects and special initiatives are completed on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives.
